(PAOLI, IN) - State police responded to the report of a possible horse and buggy wreck Thursday afternoon on Highway 37 south of Paoli.
When police arrived at the scene, it was discovered that the horse had became loose while pulling the buggy.
In an attempt to keep the horse from running into traffic, the owner held onto the horse's reigns resulting in the man being pulled across the road.
Trooper Rob Lambert with the Indiana State Police Jasper Post says that the buggy was pulled across the road where it then struck a no passing sign.
Although a bit shook up, the driver and his horse left the scene without injury.
