(FORT WAYNE, IN) - A Fort Wayne judge has made a preliminary not guilty plea for former Indiana University basketball player Todd Leary, who has been charged in connection with an ex-business partner’s multimillion-dollar fraud scheme.
Ginny Maxwell, Leary's attorney, has not made any comment on the situation at this time.
Leary reportedly worked for a title insurance broker who plead guilty to several charges in a $2.7 million scheme.
Prosecutors believe that Leary was to receive $1 million from the company.
Leary played for Indiana from 1989 through 1994 and was an analyst for IU's radio broadcasts.
