(JASONVILLE, IN) - A 45-year-old Jasonville man was arrested Thursday for reportedly attacking a Jasonville Police officer.
Jerry L. Anderson appeared in the Greene County Superior Court Monday afternoon.
The man has been charged with battery to a law enforcement officer and resisting law enforcement, both class A misdemeanors.
Police say that the incident occurred while officer Shawn Husband was dispatched to a residence when Anderson attempted to enter the residence without permission.
When police asked Anderson about the situation, he reportedly came at Officer Husband.
The man eventually began yelling and screaming; he then threw a few punches at the officers.
After cuffing the man, Anderson allegedly kicked an officer and struck him twice.
Anderson was transported to the Greene County Jail.
