Marengo Man Arrested For Battery

(MARENGO, IN) - A Marengo man was taken into police custody Wednesday after officers reponded to the report of a domestic battery.

According to police reports, Penny A. Brown claimed that she had been battered by her boyfriend, Michael A. Johnson.

Authorities noted that Brown suffered a scratch near her eye along with swelling and bruising.

Johnson was later taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Jail.
