(MITCHELL, IN) - A Mitchell woman suffered leg and hip injuries when she was run over by her own vehicle Thursday evening.
Police say that 22-year-old Kara M. White was traveling down her driveway, when her vehicle hit a patch of ice, causing it to slide.
The woman later told police that as the vehicle was sliding down the driveway, her car door opened allowing her to slide out of the car.
White then became trapped underneath the vehicle as it continued to slide.
She was transported by ambulance to Dunn Memorial Hospital.
Bedford Fire Department, Huron Fire Department and Dunn Memorial Hospital assisted with the wreck.
