(SHOALS, IN) - A Martin County nurse has been suspended with pay following a drug-related arrest.
Police officials say that Bobbie Souerdike was wanted on warrant in Dubois County for purchasing more than three grams of pseudoephedrine.
Martin County Commissioners suspended the woman, who was hired as a part-time health nurse under the commissioners.
Souerdike was arrested on February 6th along with 48-year-old Robert Ader and 28-year-old Carl E. Wiscaver.
In the past, Souerdike worked for the county's health department and was responsible for the county's health emergency planning as part of the H1N1 response team.
An investigation into the case continues; the three were transported to the Martin County Jail.
The county's health was recently ranked last in a state-wide county health ranking.
