(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The city of Bloomington announced that three of the city’s women have been selected by the city’s Women’s History Month Committee to be honored during March for their outstanding service to the Bloomington community.
Kerry Thomson has been named Bloomington's Woman of the Year, Tomilea Allison has been named the recipient of the Lifetime Contribution Award and Maggie Sullivan has been chosen to receive the Emerging Leader Award.
The Emerging Leader Award will be presented at a women's leadership workshop on March 22 at City Hall.
The Woman of the Year and Lifetime Contribution Award recipients will be honored at the group's annual luncheon, which is held on Wednesday, March 10th, at 12:15 p.m. at the Convention Center of Bloomington.
The cost for the luncheon is $20.00 per person, and seats must be purchased in advance.
Seats can be purchased at the Community & Family Resources Department of City Hall.
