(SEYMOUR, IN) - Traffic along highway 50 between Seymour and North Vernon was diverted for about two hours Thursday as crews worked to remove a semitrailer from a ditch.
Police officials say the semitrailor crashed into the ditch earlier this week.
The removal of an additional semitrailer is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 18th.
Police officials say that the semi was hauling a large coil and the removal of the coil could take up to three hours.
Both lanes of U.S. 50 will be closed the entire time.
Tractor-trailers needing to travel U.S. 50 between Seymour and North Vernon are advised to take Indiana 7 to U.S. 31 in Bartholomew County.
