(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - An 18-year-old Bloomington woman is facing several preliminary charges after she led police on a chase before crashing the vehicle.
18-year-old Christina Brittany Johnson was taken into police custody facing charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and illegal possession and illegal consumption.
Officers attempted to stop Johnson after noticing the woman was driving without headlights.
During the police pursuit, Johnson rear-ended another car before hitting a curb, losing control of the car and crashing into a cluster of trees.
The woman informed police at the scene that she had been drinking prior to driving.
