(BEDFORD, IN) - A precautionary boil order has been issued for a portion of Lawrence County.
According to a press release from Bedford City Utilities, areas affected include the entire housing community of the Woodlands Additions off of Williams Road, the area from the Woodlands Addition and 2258 Williams Road towards Williams until you get to the "Y" on State Road 450 and from Old State Road 450 to the old bridge for Bedford City Utilities Customers.
The boil order will remain in effect until further notice and was issued due to the repairing of a fire hydrant.
Residents are advised to bring all water to a boil for two minutes and let cool before consuming.
