(MITCHELL, IN) - Officials with the Mitchell Water Department recently announced a violation in the drinking water standards.
Fred Cassidy says that there is no need to use an alternative water supply but if residents have specific health concerns, they must contact their physician.
The Environmental Protection Agency says that prolonged exposure could lead to kidney, liver or nervous system problems.
