(ORLEANS, IN) - The Orleans High School academic team claimed the championship of the Patoka Lake Conference Thursday night at Crawford County High School.
The Orleans scholars won first place honors in social studies, English, fine arts, science, and interdisciplinary, and finished second in the math round.
Other schools competing in the Patoka Lake Academic Conference contest were Crawford County, Mitchell, Springs Valley, West Washington, and Perry Central.
The Bulldogs will now travel to West Washington on Thursday, March 18th, to
compete in an invitational in preparation for the area contest slated for
April 20th.
