(SEYMOUR, IN) - Shots were fired at a Jackson County pizza parlor; authorities have now arrested a Texas man for the so-called ‘drive by’.
25-year-old Thomas Allen Myers is facing a charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon when shots were fired into a Seymour Pizza Hut.
Detective Captain Carl Lamb says that several employees were working inside the business, but no one was hurt.
A fight between two brothers was later reported to dispatchers over a vehicle with two bullet holes in the windshield.
As officers investigated, they were able to determine the shots that made the bullet holes had been fired from someone sitting in the passenger seat.
The vehicle, which is owned by Myers was searched; the man was later taken into custody.
Myers says he was visiting family in the area at the time of the shooting.
