(LOOGOOTEE, IN) - A 4-year-old Loogootee boy was airlifted to a Louisville hospital after being struck while crossing a road.
According to police reports, 45 year old Herschel Russell of Loogootee was driving on County Road 650 South in Martin County when Alexander Vogt, who was standing by a mailbox, ran across the road in front of Russell's vehicle.
Russell was unable to stop his car in time.
Alaxander was taken to nearby park by Martin County Ambulance and air lifted to Kosair's Hospital.
