Man To Keep 130-Year Murder Sentence

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A Monroe County man who was convicted of murdering two men and stuffing their bodies into steel drums will stay behind bars.

The Indiana Court of Appeals recently upheld Jerry Pelfree's 130-year sentence.

Court documents accuse Pelfree of shooting 35-year-old Everett Shaw and 23-year-old Douglas Brown to death.

Officers later discovered their dismembered bodies in September of 2007 following a tip given from a police informant.
