(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Bloomington Police were led on a high-speed chase down Third Street Thursday evening at speeds upwards of 90 mph.
According to media reports, the chase began in the parking lot of Kohl's after a man left the department store without paying for jewelry and sunglasses.
Officers chased 24-year-old Tyler B. Webb with Webb throwing a plastic bag of marijuana and many of the stolen items out of his car window.
Police eventually ended the chase after already knowing his name and address.
Webb was arrested for theft, battery on a police officer with injury and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
He has also been charged with possession of marijuana, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.
