(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Speedway’s pit gates will open for the first time in 2010 on April 16th, and the competitors will be eager to unload and try out the new racing surface put down during the off season.
Track Promoter Mike Miles put down 50 truckloads of new Indiana red clay, for which the speedway is famous, after the 2009 season.
He began 2010 track preparations in early March.
Spectator gates open at 5:30 pm for all races, and kids under 12 are always free with a paying adult.
Admission is $12 for adults, except for some of the special events.
