(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University is hosting a free, community-wide electronic waste recycle event at its Bloomington campus.
The general public can drop off electronic items Saturday from 9:00AM until 2:00PM in the purple parking lot at Memorial Stadium.
Laura Knudsen with IU's Office of Sustainability says be sure to erase the hard drive of your computer or the memory in your cell phone before bringing them in for recycling.
She says they're accepting analog tv's and old microwave ovens, but not any other kitchen appliances.
