(BEDFORD, IN) - Lawrence County Clerk Myron Rainey and the Lawrence County Election Board have established the following hours for absentee voting in person for the upcoming 2010 primary election.
Voting schedule:
Monday-Friday, April 5-April 9... 8:30am-11:30am, 12:30pm-4:30pm
Monday-Friday, April 12-April 16... 8:30am-11:30am, 12:30pm-4:30pm
Monday-Friday, April 19-April 23... 8:30am-11:30am, 12:30pm-4:30pm
Saturday, April 24... 8:30am-3:30pm
Monday-Friday, April 26-April 30... 8:30am-11:30am, 12:30pm-4:30pm
Saturday, May 1... 8:30am-3:30pm
Monday, May 3... 8:30am-12 noon
All registered voters who live in Lawrence County are eligible to vote absentee in person by appearing in the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office located in room 20 on the main floor of the Lawrence County Courthouse. Voters are reminded that they must present a government issued photo id before a ballot will be issued. A drivers license, state or federal id card will be acceptable.
Additionally, Rainey reminds voters that the deadline to register to vote is Monday, April 5th. Registration forms are available in the Lawrence County voter registration office, the Lawrence County clerk's office, the BMV and online at in.gov/sos/elections
