(BEDFORD, IN) - Storm Spotter Weather Training is coming to Lawrence County.
The National Weather Service, working with the Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency will be conducting severe storm spotting training from 6:30PM until 8:30PM Thursday evening.
The training will be held at Dunn Medical Center and will be hosted by Dave Tucek, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
Valerie Luchauer, Director of the Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency says that "awareness and preparedness are keys to safety" and with volunteers monitoring the sky and reporting severe weather, it will help increase everyone's safety.
