(WASHINGTON, IN) - A Washington Indiana man was injured Monday evening when his semi which was loaded full of turkeys overturned.
According to police reports, 27-year-old Kevin J. Payne was hauling a semi load of turkeys on State Road 164 in Dubois Country, when he ran off the roadway and rolled down an embankment.
Payne complained of shoulder pain and was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Several turkeys were killed during the wreck.
