(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant patients are unable to afford such a procedure.
The Children's Organ Transplant Association is raising funds for a Bloomington teen named Timothy Isom.
Timothy was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease and needs a kidney transplant.
Volunteers from the transplant association are raising an estimated $50,000 in the Bloomington area.
Donations can currently be made at any Chase Bank branch location using account number 2943673679 or mailed to the Children's Organ Transplant Association at 2501 West COTA Drive, Bloomington, Indiana, 47403.
