(BEDFORD, IN) - The city of Bedford has begun their annual schedule for fire hydrant flushing.
Customers are advised to be careful on or about these days as the water could be muddy or rusty and may be harmful to laundry.
If the water becomes discolored in your area, let the cold faucets run for a short while until it clears up.
The following is the full schedule hydrant flushing schedule.
Tuesday - 17th and L Street East, South to 27th, Rainbow Hills and Heritage streets and in the Meadows and Broadview Addition.
Wednesday - Lincoln Avenue North of 15th and 15th West of L Street, North to 10th Street as well as John Williams Boulevard.
Thursday - 15th and E to 15th and K Street, North to Breckenridge Road.
Friday - 8th Street and O Street West to X Street, North to 2nd and S Street, Heltonville Road as well as Mount Pleasant & Boyd Lane.
Sunday - 16th and P Street East, 17th South to 39th Street, West of M Street as well as Eastlake Drive, Crawford Addition, Brook Knoll, Saddle Barn Addition.
