(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - A car full of teenagers crashed Sunday afternoon on State Road 446.
According to police reports, a car carrying five Monroe County teens traveled off of State Road 446 near Old Richardson Road.
During police investigations at the scene, officers were able to determine that 16-year-old Chelsea Sarnecki was driving to fast to avoid the wreck.
She drove her car off of the highway and into a ditch, causing the vehicle to roll several times before coming to rest on its top.
Sarnecki, as well as three others in the car were transported to Bloomington Hospital to be treated for injuries related to the crash.
Officers say that the majority of the group had been wearing seatbelts which may have prevented more serious injuries.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Bloomington Hospital EMS, Bloomington Fire Department and the Perry Clear Creek Fire Department assisted at the scene.
