(JEFFERSONVILLE, IN) - A census bureau processing center in southern Indiana was evacuated for about five hours on Tuesday following the discovery of a red, powdery substance in one of the returned census forms.
A hazardous materials team determined the substance was powdered jello.
Between 200 and 300 employees at the National Processing Center in Jeffersonville were evacuated.
