(ELLETTSVILLE) - Battery and intimidation charges were filed Friday against an Ellettsville man who was shot by police last weekend.
21 year old Braxton Colongione was shot in the stomach by an Ellettsville police officer May 2 after threatening them with a plastic replica of a Beretta-style handgun.
The shooting occurred when police found him in a tool shed while investigation a report of family violence at his girlfriends house.
Police say Colongoine has a lengthy history of battery incidents.
