(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that a stretch of State Road 54 in Greene County will be restricted to ten feet in width.
The structures over Ritter Ditch and a tributary of Richland Creek located 1.3 and 1.7 miles east of U.S. Route 231 are going to be rehabilitated.
Officials say that one lane of the roadway will need to be closed to allow crews to reconstruct the structures.
Signals will be installed to move traffic through the area.
Work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 12th at 8:00AM and will remain in place until the end of the project.
The Indiana Department of Transportation is reminding residents to follow the posted work zone speed limit and use caution when traveling through a work zone.
