(UNDATED) - The U.S. Postal Service is launching its annual Dog Bite Prevention Week this week to try and reduce the number of letter carriers bitten.
Last year, nearly 2,900 Postal Service employees were victimized by dogs, more than 60 right here in Indiana.
While the number may seem small, U.S. Postal Service Indiana Spokeswoman Kim Yates says it is a serious problem.
