(SEYMOUR, IN) - A 23-year-old Salem woman was arrested Thursday afternoon between Seymour and Brownstown as she attempted to rob a CVS Pharmacy in Seymour.
According to Seymour Police Detective Greg O'Brien, Meghan F. Adams entered the store just after 2:30PM wearing a disguise and walked back to the pharmacy counter.
Police say that she was wearing a wig and hat and asked the employee on duty if they had OxyContin.
The woman the opened her jacket and displayed a gun.
Detective O'Brien says that Adams then got scared, ran out and got into a vehicle and left the scene.
Using a description of the vehicle, officers were able to apprehend Adams.
While confessing to the attempted Seymour robbery, she also confessed to robbing a CVS Pharmacy in Paoli.
