(UNDATED) - Several systems have all but eliminated summer school this year.
Most say it's a continuation of a budget-slicing trend that began last summer.
Indianapolis' Perry Township Schools cut summer classes in half last year.
This year, they've eliminated everything except high school classes offered online.
A handful of summer programs will operate through alternative funding sources.
