(MITCHELL, IN) - The city of Mitchell is holding a public hearing and special council meeting at 11:00AM on Wednesday at Mitchell City Hall.
The first item on the city's agenda will include applying for a $1 million grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs to help improve its sewer lift stations among other things.
Mitchell Mayor Dan Terrell is asking that members of the public send in letters of support at 407 South Sixth Street to help the city obtain the grant funding.
