(MITCHELL, IN) - The city of Mitchell is offering a $250 reward in exchange for any available information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for breaking into the city pool.
According to Mitchell Police Chief Jerry Presnell, vandals broke into the pool late Friday or early Saturday morning and basically "made a mess of the place."
The suspects are believed to have cut the lock off the gate and broke through a door.
Presnell says that the suspects tried to break into the cash register, even though it never contains money after closing threw other objects around.
