(BEDFORD, IN) - Firefighters were called to GM Powertrain Monday morning.
When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming from the top of a piece of the factory's machinery.
Several of the employees had made attempts to put out the fire using sand.
Fire crews assisted GM workers in putting a ceramic cloth in a vent to help smother the fire.
