Two Arrested In Connection With CVS Robbery

(PAOLI, IN) - Two people were booked into the Orange County jail in connection with an armed robbery at a CVS store on north edge of Paoli.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, officers received a phone call reporting a man had jumped over the counter and demanded drugs.

Police say that the suspect collected around 500 Hydrocodone pills and then fled the scene; he was caught a short time later.

20-year-old Christopher Smith and 21-year-old Tracy Elaine Smith were taken into custody and booked into the Orange County Jail.

Police say that Elaine was waiting nearby in a car.
