(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Two people were injured when they were run over by a pontoon boat at Monroe Reservoir Wednesday night.
The injured were identified as 21 year-old Kali Lauzon of Galien, Michigan and 23 year-old Jordan Cork of Speedway.
Lauzon received significant cuts to her left leg after being struck by the propeller and her injuries require surgery. Cork received abrasions to his back.
The boat was operated by 23-year-old Steven Hurst.
Hurst said he was getting ready to move the boat and looked around and didn't see anyone in the water.
A DNR spokesperson said no charges are being filed.
