Fire Crews Called To Bedford Home

(BEDFORD, IN) - Fire crews were called to the scene of a Bedford house fire this morning.

Investigators are now trying to determine what caused the fire that caused heavy damage to a home on M Street.

Deputy Fire Chief Steve Haverly states "I think the whole house was pretty much destroyed."

One resident at the house was taken to an area hospital for smoke inhalation but has since been released.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
