(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - No charges are being filed against the Bloomington area couple who kept their 2-year-old daughter out in the heat while begging for money on the south side of Indianapolis Sunday.
"I don't think this is good parenting, but bad parenting isn't a crime", says Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi.
Police found the little girl red-faced, sweating and in tears.
36-year-old Jacob Cotton and 23-year-old Lindsay Ramon claimed they needed money for gas to get home.
Cotton remains in jail on separate charges.
