(UNDATED) - As the Independence Day weekend approaches, State Fire Marshal Jim Greeson is reminding us that fireworks can be dangerous.
Greeson points out that more fires are reported on the Fourth of July than any other day.
He says adults should not let young children handle fireworks.
He also warns us to make sure we know about local ordinances dealing with fireworks.
