(NASHVILLE, IN) - Ambulance crews were called to the scene of a collision between a vehicle and a teenager riding a bicycle.
The Thursday evening collision occurred on State Road 45 in Brown County after 12-year-old Michael Campono of Helmsburg rode his bicycle into State Road 45 from a driveway without stopping, and was hit by 78-year-old Chester Kylander.
Police say that Campono was not wearing a helmet or other safety gear at the time of the wreck.
The boy suffered a slight head injury and was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital.
