(EDINBURGH, IN) - Thousands of soldiers and civilians are participating in semiannual field training exercises now through July 22nd at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh.
National Guard units from 13 states, including Indiana, are among the participating forces along with federal military response teams.
The exercises simulate urban and aerial search-and-rescue, medical training and decontamination following nuclear or biological attacks.
