(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Cook Medical founder Bill Cook has received a lifetime achievement award from the Pediatric and Adult Interventional Aardiology Symposium.
The Pioneer Award has only been given out once before in the organization's history.
PICS says it chose Cook because he introduced all the products the organization uses, specifically for children with congenital heart defects.
