(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Economic uncertainty is pushing thousands of Hoosiers toward college.
The Indiana University School of Continuing Studies in Bloomington attributes the growing number of adult students to the higher number of job losses, including 200,000 manufacturing positions in Indiana over the past ten years.
Employers are looking for a more skilled workforce, forcing some jobless Hoosiers to go into debt to pay for an education that will help them level the playing field.
