(UNIONTOWN, IN) - An adult book and novelty store in Jackson County has been ordered to close its doors.
An appeal of Special Judge Stephen Heimann's ruling to close The Lion's Den in Uniontown is expected.
The owners of the store have 30 days to file an appeal of the ruling.
Officials say that the store will likely remain open if an appeal is filed despite the judge's ruling.
Judge Heimann says that the store is notgrandfathered in, due to the fact that the store opened three days after county commissioners passed an ordinance banning stores of that nature.
