Nashville Man Arrested For Attempted Rape

(GATESVILLE, IN) - A Nashville man was arrested on Saturday for attempted rape and domestic battery among other charges.

45-year-old Eugene Wesley was taken into police custody following a 911 call regarding a possible rape.

A woman at the house informed investigators that Wesley had just attempted to rape her and then fled the home.

Wesley was arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail without incident.

The victim was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital by ambulance.
