(BLOOMFIELD, IN) - The Indiana Department of Transportation held a public hearing in Greene County Thursday on the extension of Interstate 69 from Indianapolis to Evansville.
Several dozens of people turned out for the hearing, both in support and in opposition.
INDOT officials hope to start construction on section 4 of the state's I-69 project next year and have that segment completed in 2014.
