(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - With extreme heat all over Indiana this week, state health officials are offering hot weather tips.
The Indiana State Department of Health recommends drinking plenty of cool water, avoid being in the heat too long, get into air conditioning, cool down with cool baths and avoid alcohol.
Young children and the elderly are at greater risk for such heat-related illnesses as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
