(UNDATED) - Police are collecting leftover prescription drugs Saturday at 52 locations around Indiana.
14 state police posts are taking part in the Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
DEA Assistant Special Agent for Indiana Dennis Wichern says leaving prescriptions lying around can lead to abuse or accidental poisonings.
All state police posts except the toll road post are taking part.
The Indiana locations are among more than 3,500 nationwide.
Locally, prescription medication can be dropped off at the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department from 10:00AM until 2:00PM.
