(UNDATED) - Triple-A reports Hoosiers are paying an average of $2.83 for self-serve regular gasoline.
The shutdown of two petroleum pipelines in the upper Midwest is one of the factors driving up crude oil prices to their highest level since mid-August.
The pipeline, which carries crude oil from Canada to U.S. refineries in the Midwest, was closed last Thursday due to a leak.
There is no word on when the pipeline will be back in operation.
