(BEDFORD, IN) - Vandalism continues to plague the Bedford area.
Bedford Police Department Chief Dennis Parsley says the proclaimed "summer of vandalism" began before summer when someone on an all-terrain vehicle damaged the golf greens at Otis Park costing an estimated $5,000 in damage.
The latest came Saturday night or Sunday morning when vandals, using some sort of firecrackers, blew up the toilets in the rest rooms near the playground at Wilson Park.
In addition to the vandalism at Otis Park and Wilson Park, vandals broke into the concession stand at Wiley Youth Park near the end of August.
The incidents remain under investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bedford Police.
