(COLUMBUS, IN) - 26-year-old Ashley Walsh was sentenced today for her role in the attempted theft of ammonia in Northern Bartholomew County last March.
The Columbus woman had helped two men in the attempted theft of anhydrous ammonia that caused the release of a poisonous cloud that forced the evacuation of residents near Taylorsville.
Walsh was later caught trying to smuggle tobacco and meth to one of the men being held in the Bartholomew County Jail.
Including jail time already served, she may serve just over 15 months of her five and half year prison sentence.
